Madisyn + Alex’s stunning wedding is one I won’t forget, that included some of the most iconic spots here in St. Louis, MO!
St. Louis MO Wedding
I adored every bit of this day capturing Madisyn + Alex here in St. Louis! They are the absolute sweetest couple and were so easy to celebrate with. They said their vows at St. Francis Xavier College Church, which is steeped in history and filled with gorgeous details. We ventured to both Lafayette Park and Kiener Plaza for portraits and wedding party photos, and it’s filled with a variety of backdrops that are very quintessential St. Louis!
They celebrated with their closest friends and family at The Franklin of Soulard, another beautiful building filled with historic charm, that is a perfect canvas to transform for a wedding reception. This had to be one of my most favorite weddings to date!
St Xavier at St. Louis University
St. Xavier is a St. Louis landmark located on St. Louis University’s campus. It’s steeped in rich history and has the most incredible archiecture both on the interior and the exterior. I loved getting to capture Madisyn and Alex on the front steps, it gave such classy vibes for their photos!
Lafayette Park St Louis
Lafayette Park is an iconic spot here in St. Louis and there’s a reason for that! It’s truly gorgeous at any time of year. The spring and summer bring extra blooms, and more vibrant greenery, while the fall brings the gorgeous autumn hues. Madisyn + Alex’s day in December was equally stunning, with bits of the fall leaves remaining, but still plenty of green on the trees.
It’s a perfect place to explore with many different walking trails, bridges, as well as a lake. It gives a variety of backdrops, making it a great choice for both bride + groom portraits and wedding party portraits.
Kiener Plaza St. Louis
If you want photos that scream St. Louis, Kiener Plaza is the place to do it! This large, grassy area in the middle of the city provides the perfect view of the Gateway Arch. It’s a gorgeous location for portraits, and I had so much fun exploring here with Madisyn + Alex!
The Franklin of Soulard
The Franklin of Soulard is a historical gem here in St. Louis, being originally built in 1905. It creates a magical atmosphere with 30-foot ceilings, plenty of natural light streaming in from the windows, a large stage, gold chandeliers, and even a candlelit mezzanine. It’s a large space that can accommodate up to 300 guests, and can be truly transformed to fit whatever vision you have in mind. It’s the perfect spot to celebrate such an important occasion with all your favorite people!
